Hello and welcome to Tamar’s Jewish Adventures!
I thought I would take this opportunity to let you know about one of our amazing festival workshops…
The next Jewish festival coming up is Purim, on 20th-21st March, so now is a great time of year to book a Purim workshop! In this fun-filled session, your pupils can:
– Hear the story of how brave Queen Esther saved her Jewish community from destruction, while making lots of noise to drown out the name of Haman, the villainous royal vizier.
– Learn about the customs of Purim, including why Jewish people celebrate by wearing fancy dress, and…
– Make their very own Purim masks! Pictured example made by yours truly… I’m sure your pupils’ creations will be far more impressive!
As with any workshop, it can be adapted to suit your pupils’ needs and curriculum objectives. It can also be combined with another festival workshop, such as Chanukah. And don’t forget, you can book a workshop on any festival you want, regardless of the time of year!
