In-person workshops for primary schools include:

Judaism at Home

Take a look into the home of an observant Jewish family to discover how they practise their faith in their everyday lives, including ritual items, kashrut (dietary laws) and Shabbat/ the Sabbath, the holy day of rest which is celebrated every week.

Exploring the Synagogue

Learn about the different kinds of synagogues and how Jewish people worship. Discover the Torah, the holy book at the centre of Jewish life, and have a go at being a Hebrew scribe!

Festivals

I offer workshops on all major Jewish festivals including Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), Sukkot (Tabernacles), Simchat Torah, Chanukah, Purim, Pesach (Passover) and Shavuot (Pentecost). These include storytelling, music and/ or arts and crafts. For information on individual Festival workshops, please contact me.
